As a new HR Professional and the youngest in my department, the strategies that I plan to implement this upcoming week is curiosity and communication. During this module, I was able to identify two things about myself.
1. I do not ask enough questions. I tend to just listen to the more seasonal staff and although I may have burning questions, I simply do not ask because I do not want to offend nor seem incompetent as to what is being discussed.
2. I do not express my ideas enough as I normally become nonchalant when I suggest something, and someone does not take it seriously. I believe that I need to be more confident when suggesting ideas or strategies and explain why this idea should be considered.
