Mr. Nathaniel Beneby is the former Managing Director of the Royal Bank of Canada (Bahamas). Mr. Beneby was the first Bahamian to hold this prestigious position. As a career banker, Mr. Beneby has broken barriers and redefined what Bahamians are capable of in the banking industry.

He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration, from California Coast University Santa Ana, California, and an MBA (Honours) from the same university.

He joined RBC Royal Bank of Canada in 1973 as an entry-level clerk. At times, as a clerk, he filled in for the messenger. Mr. Beneby exemplifies determination and exceptional professionalism as he was able to start from the bottom of the largest bank in The Bahamas and rise to the pinnacle of success.

He has held a number of other notable positions throughout his outstanding career. Some of these include:

Mr. Beneby is also a businessman, ordained Minister, and serves in advisory capacities to various organizations. He credits his success to his faith in God and the consistent support from his family.
