Welcome to Module 12 of the 40 Under 40 Challenge!
Today’s module focuses on the theme of Total Rewards. We will be hearing from our Featured Speaker Mrs. Sharell Thomas-Hodge. Mrs. Thomas-Hodge is the Director of Total Rewards at the YMCA of Metropolitan Atlanta, where she designs and executes Total Rewards strategies for her organization. Sharell will discuss with us the importance of effective Total Rewards strategies and how organizations can use these processes to improve productivity, become an employer of choice, and boost overall engagement across the organization.
Course Learning Objectives
During this module, the following course objectives will be addressed:
- To discuss and explain the HR function of Total Rewards
- To discuss the strategic importance of Total Rewards to organizational success and long-term performance
- To highlight factors that are critical when designing effective Total Rewards strategies and operational plans
- To discuss some of the common pitfalls that organizations should avoid when developing a Total Rewards strategy designed for the future
- To encourage our 40 Under 40 HR Leaders to continue building their knowledge in Total Rewards, as part of their overall career development goals
