The nugget from module 1 that has resonated with me the most is “The Importance of Transparency”. It is imperative that we remember that being a part of any organization means that you are part of a team and that transparency is a crucial aspect of any team’s success. Hoarding information in an effort to elevate one’s self is not a quality that is becoming. The driving force of any one who is part of a team should be to elevate the entire team. This is a belief that I utilize daily in my work life. Any new information or ideas that would prove beneficial to my organization, I am more than willing to share for the enhancement of my team. As the saying goes, “No man is an island”, so imagine if in the workplace everyone worked in silos, it would only prove to be detrimental to the organization.
