ParticipantTwo HR process that I feel needs to be reviewd at my current place of employment is the onboarding process and Exit interviews.
With the onboarding process I feel like more should be done with the onboarding process to give the potential candidates a place of excitement and a place to look forward to growing with. There is no existing exit strategy but having one in place would give the HR department ways to improve and work on the issues the past employees left for.As for onboarding I would implement creating a full onboarding experience where the potential candidates get to see what it’s like working in the work culture as a group and have about 2-3 different executive leaders create a session that would be suitable for the organization.
I would also implement a exit strategy where as we create surveys and have a brief session with the employees that wish to leave. Gather all the data then work to improve those issues to parent rention turnover.

ParticipantMy two recommendations include:
Conducting regular evaluations and feedback sessions with employees who have completed training programs can provide valuable insights into the effectiveness of training. This feedback can help identify areas that need improvement and allow for adjustments.
Incorporating interactive and hands on learning activities into training programs can enhance engagement and rention of information. By provide opportunities for employees to apply their knowledge in real world scenarios.

ParticipantI also agree with the strategy that understanding what customers think about the organization is important. I worked in the customer service field for about 6 years and I too can attest that getting feed back and knowing how they feel can help to make the necessary changes in the organization for growth and most importantly success of the business.

ParticipantBeing the youngest in the field is something to celebrate! That is awesome and I’d say to you is to keep curious and bring those ideas to light. Innovation is key and know that you got the power to make a change in the industry!

ParticipantAfter watching module 1, I was able to gain a better understanding of how important strategic management is in the HR industry. As an upcoming HR professional, one strategy that stood out to me most would be to always own my expertise and becoming extremely curious to figure things out.
Owning my expertise would simply mean for me to build my confidence in the skill sets that I currently have and work towards adding to what I already know. Curiosity comes into play when I decide to be more open and ask more questions when I see the need for something to be worked on or needs some more definition. Owning my expertise would always mean for me to stop doubting myself when things don’t go my way. I know that I’m qualified and I know that I do have the skills needed for the field.
Although I’m not in the field I tend to practice what I already know on my job with my colleagues and this week I acted on curiosity with my department.Questions were asked and suggestions were given.
