Post-Module Group Assignment

Now that you have completed module 3, we want to offer you the opportunity to put your knowledge and takeaways into practice. In your designated groups, please complete the following exercise. Each group should nominate one individual to be the spokesperson at this week’s debrief session. You will have 5 minutes to present.

  • You work in the HR department for a company that is in dire need of restructuring. The managing director agrees that changes need to be made and has asked the HR team to develop a strategic human resource planning agenda to be implemented in one week.
  • Using the 5-step method provided in this module’s pre-reading material, create a strategic plan that targets each of the pivotal areas in the HR planning process. The plan should include actionable steps with realistic objectives, timelines, and a working budget.
  • Please assign roles to each member of the team as this is a group assignment.
  • The spokesperson should prepare to present your group’s plan and answer any questions raised by others.

If you have any questions about the assignment, please reach out to our Communications Director, Sasha Farrow via our Whatsapp group. We look forward to hearing your creative ideas at our debrief session on Wednesday, April 17, 2024 at 7pm.

 Have a great week!
